Recruitment of a saddle and accessory prototype developer

As part of its growth, Antarès Sellier France opens a recruitment for a position of a saddle and accessory prototype developer for its workshop in Saintes, Charente-Maritime.

Reporting to the R&D Manager, your main task will be to produce prototypes and pre-production samples of future products for Antarès.

Working with the R&D Team, you will produce all the necessary documentation to manufacture the products created (manufacturing datasheets, technical specifications, training plan, etc.).

You will help in field test analyses and will spearhead proposals to improve products and manufacturing processes.
You will also be required to be part of the creative process.

  • You should have a professional qualification (CAP) as a saddle and harness-maker and several successful experiences in saddle-making workshops.
  • You should be familiar with all the stages to make a saddle and accessories required for riding.
  • You should already have work experience in tasks to create templates and the provision of size classification systems.
  • You should be enthusiastic to get involved in product development duties.
  • Given that the work requires concentration, you should be calm, controlled and fastidious.
  • With an eye for aesthetics, you should be seeking satisfaction from a job well done and demonstrating efficiency.
  • You should also have an eye for detail.
  • Finally, you should be keen to be part of a small team, embodying family values in which passing on expertise, helping each other and enthusiasm are ever-present.

The post is a permanent contract based in Saintes, Charente Maritime.
