Description of the Precision rubber reins 5/8
Extra soft 16mm wide rubber reins with 7 leather loops. The 7 leather loops on the reins provide excellent grip to stop them slipping through the rider's hand. The inner side of the rein hand features a smooth nylon lining for greater resistance and longevity and a more comfortable grip.
The reins are also made of a smooth and supple French full grain leather to ensure resistance and to avoid stretching.
They integrate leather martingale stops.
The reins are attached to the bit with stainless steel hooks.
The reins are available in malt leather with beige stitching or in black leather with black stitching.

French leather

How to maintain your calf/rubber grip 5/8 ?
Even if your reins are not completely made of leather, it is wise to take good care of them for their good durability.
Saddle soap
To maintain the leather strength and suppleness, clean your reins after each use. Apply our soap with a damp sponge.
Leather conditioner
Once or twice a month, moisturize your clean leathers with the conditioner. To do this, use a clean tissue or sponge.
Leather oil
Once or twice a year, soften your reins with our leather oil. Apply the product with a brush.
