Shell
The outer shell is thinner and made entirely from carbon fibre.
Helmet liner
The helmet liner is made from EPS (expanded polystyrene foam) in a new ground-breaking shape to absorb the energy from impacts by dispersing it. As a result, the liner crushes on impact and becomes far denser.
Inside, the liner is partly covered in blue waffle-shaped ERT (Energy Reduction Technology) foam pads. This new technical innovation better spreads out the energy from small bumps and big impacts. It also has anti-rotational properties. If you take a hit while riding, the blue waffle-shaped pads move with your head across the helmet shell to limit the risk of head injuries.
Air vents
The Precision Carbon Eclipse riding helmet features a new airflow system with 11 apertures inside the helmet and 2 vents front and rear. This new system provides better airflow and keeps your head cool. It also has also air ducts under the visor for better airflow inside the helmet.
Fastening system
The helmet fastening has been completely redesigned with a easy-to-use "Fidlock" magnetic fastener. This means that the helmet can be clipped and unclipped using one hand. The helmet fastener comes with a nylon lock ring for added safety.
The nylon and leather harness ensures the helmet fits securely on the rider's head. It has a 3-point fastening system. The Y-shaped fastening system has more widely spaced points to reduce any helmet rotation.
Helmet cap
The helmet cap is made from foam pads, lycra and 2D mesh to adjust your riding helmet for the perfect fit.
The helmet cap is removable and we recommend you clean it regularly.

The riding helmet comes with foam pads.
And for added comfort !
Elasticated straps at the rear of the helmet relieve any pressure on the back of the head so you can ride comfortably with your hair up.
The Eclipse visor
The Eclipse visor draws on women's hat design. The elegant, wide visor has been carefully considered to protect the rider's skin from the sun and suits all riding disciplines.
European standard EN1384-2023 requires all visors or peaks to bend when exposed to a weight. This is intended to stop them breaking and injuring riders. As a result, Antarès helmet visors are designed to be flexible.
The riding helmet comes with its Antarès protective drawstring bag.

Riding helmet safety
A riding helmet is paramount for every rider's safety, whatever their level. All our riding helmets feature the CE mark and SEI certification. They have also successfully passed EN1384-2023 and F1163-2023 quality standards.
That said, you do need to pay special attention to your helmet. As our impact tests show, helmet safety is impaired if the helmet liner has retracted after a blow, even if there are no marks on it from a fall. That's why you must change your riding helmet after suffering an impact.
We recommend replacing a helmet, at the latest, 5 years after the date of purchase, even if you do not see any evidence of impacts or damage.
Personalising your Antarès riding helmet
If want, you can change the colour of the triangle to better suit your style. This helmet can also be fully customised to be totally unique.

Shell
The Antarès helmet features:
– A shell (available in 2 sizes: S/M 53-57 cm and M/L 57-61 cm)
- A liner to adjust the shell to your head size, available in 10 sizes.
Your head circumference in centimeters is equivalent to your helmet size.
To measure your head circumference:
1. Bring a tape measure
2. Place it above the line of the eyebrows and the ears.
Two people with the same head circumference will not necessary have the same helmet size depending on the shape of their head. For example, if your head circumference corresponds to 57cm with a rather oval shape, your helmet size will be 57SM. If your head is rather round, prefer a 57ML.
