The running martingale attachment features 4 adjustment holes to suit different sizes and shapes of horse. The martingale has a snap hook for easy fastening to the breastplate.
The specially selected French full grain leather means that the martingale is hard-wearing and stretch-resistant.
Our martingale goes perfectly with our grained elastic breastplate.
Advantage of the running martingale
The running martingale is a draw rein that limits unwanted upward head movement. It is particularly suited to horses that toss their heads to avoid the riders hand.

How to maintain your running martingale attachment ?
Saddle soap
To maintain the leather strength and suppleness, clean your running martingale attachment after each use. Apply our soap with a damp sponge.
Leather conditioner
Once or twice a month, moisturize your clean leather with the conditioner. To do this, use a clean tissue or sponge.
Leather oil
Once or twice a year, soften your running martingale attachment with our leather oil. Apply the product with a brush.
