Helmet shim description

These adjustment shims are designed to be integrated into the Origin helmet.

They are designed to adapt the helmet fitting to the rider’s head, ensuring proper support for riders who need extra thickness.

Easy to remove and clean, these shims can be placed in several areas of the helmet (front, back, sides) for an optimal fit.

The use of both shims is not always necessary: a single shim can be enough, depending on the rider’s needs. When adjusting for a child, it is possible to shims for a more secure fit. However, if the use of both shims is required for an adult, this may indicate that the chosen helmet is not the optimal size.

Shims are sold in pairs and available in two thicknesses: 4 mm or 8 mm.

Assembly steps

1. Remove the helmet pad sets.

2. Position one or both shims in areas which required adjustment.

3. Replace the pad sets inside the helmet.
