{"id":99254,"date":"2023-05-09T11:38:33","date_gmt":"2023-05-09T09:38:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/antares-sellier.com\/?p=99254"},"modified":"2023-05-09T11:38:35","modified_gmt":"2023-05-09T09:38:35","slug":"recruitment-of-a-product-design-and-development-engineer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/antares-sellier.com\/en\/2023\/05\/09\/recruitment-of-a-product-design-and-development-engineer\/","title":{"rendered":"Recruitment of a product design and development engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Established in 2000, the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/antares-sellier.com\/en\/maison-antares\/\">Antar\u00e8s Sellier France<\/a><\/strong> group uses top-quality leather to design, develop and craft saddles, helmets and accessories for horse riding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Antar\u00e8s is ranked among the market leaders and has an outstanding image in France and other countries where it has outlets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Its R&amp;D work, respect for horses, quality of the materials used and the products it manufactures, coupled with its approach to guidance and customer service, have been the hallmarks for this success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In figures, Antar\u00e8s employs 140 staff and is represented in 25 countries worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of its development, Antar\u00e8s Sellier France is looking for a product design and development engineer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recruitment of a product design and development engineer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Reporting to the R&amp;D innovation manager and working closely with the brand&#8217;s R&amp;D, manufacturing and marketing teams, you will be responsible for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Developing new products for the brand and improving current products,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Managing project budgets<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supervising group projects to ensure the correct monitoring and market presence of products<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Selecting components that are in line with the brand&#8217;s innovation strategy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitoring technological developments of products, new materials and processes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From an engineering background:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Sound knowledge of product processes and design tools<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sound knowledge of manufacturing processes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Capacity for analysing and interpreting results<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work on your own and within a team<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Curiosity and interest for innovation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Imaginative and creative<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organised and an ability to prioritise daily tasks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficient in English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You will be a key member working in a vibrant and outgoing team to ensure the success of future products and brand appeal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Additionnal information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The vacancy is based in Saintes en Charente Maritime, and will require business trips in France throughout Europe.
